Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I really wanted to enjoy this and recommend it to others, but honestly it just wasn’t good quality food. Most of the snacks were low quality (and seemingly prepared the night before - not ideal for tea sandwiches). The standout was the whipped raspberry parfait. The teas were fine. Service was also pretty sparse. For the $60 price point, skip out on the frills and spend a lot less elsewhere for better quality.

I went with a party of 7 on a weekday night, and it was a very relaxed and enjoyable time. I liked that there is virtually no interaction with a waiter and everything you want to order is entered in on your phone via QR code. All 7 of us were able to see what was being added to our order easily, separated by person entering it. You can send what you want out to the kitchen and then continue ordering on your phone whenever you want. I found the tea to be solid and decent (adjusting the sweetness level on the tea down to 30% made the tea more vibrant) but it wasn't particularly amazing for me. The cakes however were really good!! almost as good as a la mousse. A downside was that when we went to pay, there was no way to pay by what individual ordered on their own phone, it all had to go on one card. But I felt like I definitely want to come back here. For people with social anxiety, the ordering system especially riding solo seems like a dream!

Such a gem! The sandwiches, scones, and desserts were all delicious, and I loved the Asian influence woven throughout. A heads up, you get one tea flavor, but refills are unlimited. The space is spotless and the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Can’t wait to go back!

Great for a casual afternoon tea. The sandwiches and scones were tasty, but the desserts were a miss for the whole table. Sad because I was looking forward to that tier the most! We were pleased with the tea selections and there's even good fruity teas (i.e. passionfruit tea) for non tea lovers like me.

We visited this tea room and tried the molten lava cake and the green tea crepe cake, along with two pots of black and green tea. The tea was served in generously sized teapotsβ€”one pot would have easily been enough for two people. I really enjoyed the molten lava cake; it was rich and delicious. The green tea crepe cake, however, wasn’t my favoriteβ€”it felt a bit heavy and oily, not very sweet, and overall somewhat bland. The tea itself was excellent, the presentation was lovely, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience and a great spot for tea lovers.
